AMA Awards 2010: Rihanna 'Love the Way You Lie,' 'What's My Name,' 'Only Girl' medley

GoogleThe 2010 American Music Awards kicked off Sunday (Nov. 21) night with a medley by Rihanna featuring the songs "Love the Way You Lie Part 2," "What's My Name" and "Only Girl." It also featured some metal props from the set of "Tron" and a barely-there calypso outfit that we cannot abide.
Seriously -- Rihanna is a hot girl with a bangin' body, but that black and white checked fuzzy bra with the weird scarf-as-skirt was doing her no favors. Sorry, Rihanna. Your red carpet outfit was great, though.
Still, it was a hot way to kick off the show. All three songs are upbeat and fun, and it was a great call for the opening. It was hard not to be a little nervous when Riri dropped out of the giant metal tree -- that seems like a live performance accident waiting to happen.

Rihanna's performance outfit was hot--she looked terrific! I was worrried about her actual performance, but she was awesome. She's definitely come a long way, and her voice was strong. Her gown looked great on her, too. I'm glad she won.
Rihanna was totally aweful in every way last night… In my opinion, she took about 3 giant steps backward in her career there… No class what so ever. She was way out of tune and her clthes couldn't have been more ugly. And what was with her hair... OMG! Sorry, I am a Rihann fan, but last night did her no favors what so ever!!!!
rihanna was awesome some people talk about her dancing but hey come to the caribbean especially barbados and you will surely see that type of dancing it is we culture it is refer to as wukking up moving waist hips and shaking bumper rihanna was one of the better acts of the night by far and omg she can perform so yes if you think it was slightly like some person said on youtube come and experience caribbean culture and roots and you will see it is a norm and tradition her voice was not at her best but she sounded awesome regardless ... what i learn in live ppl will always envy you regardless of what you do ppl will also always talk so you know what such is life keep being and awesome artiste rihanna and you are n will always be a diva a fashionista and a proud Barbadian rihanna barbados love you
I thought her performance was great. We haven't saw Rihanna do choreography in a while so it was a fresh sight.....plus I thought her vocals sounded better than ever before. I like her current new style, it looks inspired by her Rude Boy video.....plus the red hair is spicy. :)
