'90210's' Michael Steger on Navid's love life: 'There's a new spark'
We've already heard from Jessica Lowndes, half of "90210's" "Navianna" equation, on how Joe Jonas will affect that relationship, but Zap2it also caught up with Michael Steger on-set.
A lot of fans ask us why The CW show downplays Navid's good looks on the show - especially after no one bid on him in the show's recent bachelor auction. So, we asked him.
"I don't know. Is it the bowl haircut?" he jokes. "They must not like my haircut. Maybe, it's a sign that I have to change up my look? I don't know."
Jonas guest stars on Monday's (Nov. 8) episode and he'll cause some strife between Navid and Adrianna. And Navid doesn't like it at all. Plus, as we learned in the last episode, Navid has some other personal issues that he needs to attend to when he discovers his father is using underage girls in his porn. So, if Ade isn't around to help with a planned sting, then who is?
It looks like Navid's good looks will finally get the attention they deserve when a new love connection forms with another castmate.
"Yeah, I'm really excited about it," Steger says. "It's happening really slowly, really organically. I know a lot of fans like the whole Navid-Adrianna storyline, but there's a new spark."
Who could it be? Can you guess from Steger's description? "It's with another journalist at West Beverly," he says. "Someone who has the same aspirations and dreams as Navid." And smile.
"90210" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on The CW.

In season 1. It was established really early. That's how he has the yellow sports car. I believe he even took Dixon or someone to the shooting of one of his dad's movies.
His new love interest should be Andrea Zuckerman's daughter (Hannah?. We haven't seen her since the pilot episode when she was in the film class.
