Taylor Swift songs on 'Glee': 'There have been conversations'

taylor-swift-robert-cavalli-party-gi.jpgTaylor Swift tells Zap2it, "I don't think I've ever been this busy in my life."

And the evidence is starting to show up. With the international Monday, Oct. 25, release of the music superstar's third album -- "Speak Now" -- approaching fast, the related media blitz is kicking in.

"I've actually been running and doing cardio for the last three months to prepare for it, to be honest," Swift says. "We've had this schedule pretty much set in stone for six months, because it has so many parts that have to come together. To make sure I could get through it, I've been warming up every day, not so much for the exercise but for the endurance."

A weekend of nightly Swift specials starts Friday, Oct. 22, on The Hub (the former Discovery Kids) and various talk-show appearances follow, so the 20-year-old winner of four Grammys and many other awards literally is in training for her packed schedule.

All the tunes on "Speak Now" were written by Swift, with the title cut, "Mine" and "Back to December" getting heavy air play already. Speculation has begun about exactly who she's singing about, her "Valentine's Day" movie co-star Taylor Lautner being a top guess ... but Swift prefers not to specify the subjects herself.

"One of the things about writing songs," she reflects, "is that I've never wanted to change the way I write them and why. I sit in a room and don't let the millions of people who might hear the song affect what it ends up being. The only person I'm thinking about conveying a message to is the person the song is about. They've stayed very personal, but I've had this wonderful surprise that other people I've never met are able to apply my stories and my songs to their lives."

Swift wouldn't be opposed to having the hit FOX series "Glee" apply her songs, too, if the circumstances could work out.

"There have been conversations," she confirms, "and when those happen with all these new opportunities, it usually comes down to scheduling. I'm a huge fan of the show, and I think it showcases music in a great way, so I would be really excited if anything were to happen there."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Can anyone list any shows on The Hub? I've heard of the new channel but wonder what new shows and any carryovers from Discovery Kids there may be on The Hub. I'm just curious.

NOOOOOO, no no no no... please good Gaia, NO!!!!!!

Why won't she just admit that "BAck to December" is about Taylor Lautner. Everyone knows it is, not a big secret.

i will delete my glee season pass if this happens.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and to the people who are saying no!! why don't you give it a chance? it's just a few songs in maybe one or more episodes it's not gonna ruin the whole show. i admit i love glee but sometimes i don't like the songs they sing cause i don't like classical music but I've learned to love it! so please people give it a chance (this is just my opinion. i'm not starting a fight, okay)

Aw c'mon, guys. Give her a chance. Her songs are great. If there's one song I would've picked (back in the first episodes of the first season) it would be "You Belong With Me" because it fits perfectly when Rachel was jealous of Quinn because of Finn and being cheer captain and all.

NOOOOO! Enough already! This show is full of kids who can really sing with or without music. Maybe Taylor will realize how horrible she sounds when she has to sing with them....

Taylor Swift is my inspiration and role model. Shes not afraid to share her most intimate feelings in the songs she writes and shares with the world. I will admit she doesn't have the best voice in the world but she writes all her songs herself. I can't wait for her new album! It will amazing and she is growing and maturing so much! You can really tell by the few singles she's released in the last few months. Hey and don't diss and hate her JUST because she's talented enough to create her own genre of music- Pop-Country. It's not country enough to be pop and not pop enough to be country. It's beautiful. And to the hatred- I'd like to see YOU write 3 top selling albums with every song on each album you've writte by yourself!! I also very much admire the way she doesn't tell the world who her songs are about. That is VERY personal and I respect her privacy. Im counting down the days till Speak Now! (:
