'Supernatural' sneak peek: Castiel answers Dean's prayers

Team Free Will is back in the game, "Supernatural" fans. In the Friday, Oct. 8 episode, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are finally reunited with their old friend Castiel (Misha Collins) when the Winchesters are plagued by... well, by plagues.Locusts, boils, and blood inspire Dean to give Castiel a call, though Sam says that he's been trying to get in touch with Castiel all year to no avail. In the preview clip hot-off-the-presses from The CW, Castiel does answer Dean's call.
So what's the deal? Does Dean pray louder than Sam? Are Sam's prayers useless now that he's spent time in the cage with Lucifer?
We think Castiel just likes Dean better.
Whatever the reason, we're glad to see the terrible trio united in a grimy motel room once again, just like the good old days. If the plagues are serious enough to get Castiel down from Heaven, where he's been in charge since Micheal's swan dive, we're guessing the boys have quite a battle ahead.
Also of note in the episode's promo: shirtless chin-ups. Just saying.

On one hand lol blatant favoritism, on the other, I wonder if Castiel was ignoring Sam because of his time in hell and what that could have done to him? Preeeettty sure Castiel is just kind of a douche. (ilh)

So great to see Cas back and looking so fine (and he came for Dean!). Now hopefully the season will start to pick up. :-D
Great to see Cas and so glad that he answered Dean. They truly do have a connection and I hope that, unlike last season, this season will take advantage of the Dean and Cas chemisty and let it work its magic.
Plus, Cas answered Dean because Dean isn't about himself, but about helping others.
So, yay that Cas is back, he has been missed, and yay that he answered Dean.
I love this scene and how Castiel popped up when Dean prayed to him.
I love how Dean had his eyes closed then sort of peeked with one eye.
Of course he likes (loves) Dean better! They were in Hell together and the bond is strong. I can't wait to see it play out onscreen again. :-D
YAY! \o/ Cas is finally back and he answered Dean! That is probably the best thing so far this season. Cas loves Dean, I hope that never changes.

Oh, thank God the angel is back and I mean this in a non-sarcastic way. Now I just hope that he and Dean can actually have some decent connection ala S4.
The showrunners were fools to not take advantage of the intense chemistry between Dean and Castiel last season. Here's hoping that this episode, and more importantly, the rest of S6, brings back the magic of that S4 brothers-in-battle relationship.
