'South Park' takes on 'Jersey Shore'
The state of New Jersey is attempting to take over the television world, but someone is making a stand. That someone is Eric Cartman.Next week's "South Park" will find Cartman, Stan, Kenny and assorted other South Parkians attempting to hold the line against the Jerseyfication of the world. In the episode, New Jersey has taken over every state in the union east of the Rockies, and the assorted GTL-ers, housewives, Snookis and other residents of the Garden State are now rolling into South Park.
That frightening, night-of-the-living-dead scenario is what you see in the photo above.
Not wanting their beloved hamlet to become West Jersey, the boys, Stan's dad Randy, Jimbo and Ned, Officer Barbrady and Kenny's dad all make a stand.
Will South Park fall to Jersey like the rest of America, or can the town save itself from a lifetime of Ed Hardy shirts and fist-pumps? You can find out Wednesday (Oct. 13).Follow Zap2it and Zap2itRick on Twitter and Zap2it on Facebook for the latest TV, movie and celebrity news.

I hate the Americans who make these Jersey Shore people possible and you know who you are!!!!
This would be more exciting if last night's episode wasn't such a godawful clanger. Nothing more topical than making fun of NASCAR!
After all these years on the air, this poorly animated, often crude Comedy Central show, is as relevant and hysterical as ever! They take on everyone in the public eye with an irreverance and no holes barred humor that make it must DVR TV.
They must be pissed that "Jersey Shore" gets better ratings then ALL of Comedy Centeral's shows.
Comedy Centeral: Where comedy went to die.
I would rather create a low rated comedy than something popular like that crap 'Jersey Shore'.
I'm sure 'South Park' doesn't do that badly though.
And yet how people continue to watch drivel like Jersey Shore and give it the ratings it does is just mortifying to me. What a horrific program that is, but can MTV dumb themselves down any more than they already have?
