'Sister Wives' finale: Will Season 2 see Robyn move into the house?

kody-robyn-sister-wives.jpgTLC brought its new series "Sister Wives" to a close on Sunday (Oct. 17). The finale centered around the wedding of Kody and fourth wife Robyn and the merging of his family with her three kids. This season saw the introduction and courtship of Robyn, the birth of child no. 13 (Truely) and finally the big wedding.

There was some palpable jealousy amongst the wives regarding the whole shindig -- Janelle and Christine didn't really have receptions, Janelle because her non-polygamous family basically wanted to have nothing to do with the wedding and Christine because she doesn't believe a new wife entering in a polygamous household should have a big reception.

The big scandal of the first half of the finale is that Kody helped Robyn pick out her wedding dress. Robyn didn't want him to tell and he just blurts it out like a stupid, wiggly puppy. The other women are really unhappy about that and we can see how it bothers them.

Things work out beautifully, though, by the time the wedding and reception rolls around. The cameras aren't allowed inside the ceremony, which is a bummer because we were curious to see if it was like any other wedding ceremony, but we understand. At the reception, the sister wives gave Robyn her "welcome to the club" gift -- a claddagh ring, which they all wear too. It was very sweet.

The sister wives seem to have some issues to work through, even though Meri, Janelle and Christine all really like Robyn. It's a big change. We hope TLC brings it back for a second season and that the second season shows the families truly merge by having Robyn and her kids move in to the Brown house where the first three wives and other 13 kids live.

What do you think, "Sister Wives" fans? Are you excited for a second season? What do you think it should showcase?

I really like this show, please bring it back for Season 2.

I love watching this show, and I love all of the wives. I think it's sad that most of the mean, judgmental comments people make about the show are from people who haven't even watched an episode. I hope it comes back for another season.

I think this show is distusting, this just gives the man (which I use loosely) to lust after other women, this really puts a great example for the children I cant believe this type of program was even allowed on tv. you should be ashamed of yourself that you cant be a real man and commit to one woman and build on that you must be very insecure of yourself, I would like to know how you would feel if the roles were changing and you was the one home taking care of the kids you need to GROW UP AND LEARN SOME REAL RESPONSIBILITIES. what bible do you go by......

The show is disturbing on so many levels. It's just about women who think nothing of themselves and one man who thinks he is God's ultimate gift.
Please stop this show. It's showcasing something very nasty.

I love the show. I find their lifestyle intriguing, but I couldn't imagine sharing a spouse. It appears as if there are pros and cons. I commend them for sharing their lives with the public and showing a positive view of polygamy. There have been many negative comments, but just because something is different than my values and beliefs doesn't mean others shouldn't be allowed to live their lives. America is great because of its diversity and acceptance of all kinds of people.

I like the show, Sister Wives, it is really interesting and quite entertaining as well. Although the lifestyle isn't for me, I do hope it makes it for another season.

Hopefully season 2 will see them all in jail.

Well the word is that Christine and Janelle want a divorce now because he is giving too much attention to the new wife....so the question isn't so much weather Robyn will move in, but weather the other two will move out.
I don't blame them for being jealous because she is younger and the 'new' thing so that will make the sex amazing and that would make any woman jealous right?
What I would like to know is this....Last week Janelle came to pick one of the kids up (or take them somewhere) and she was driving a beater car complete with a taped up window....all the while Kody is driving a brand spanking new sports car??
I think Kody is a selfish child. He acts like a child who wants what HE wants. He even told his first wife it wouldn't be okay for her to give another man affection, that he wouldn't tolerate it, yet they are expected to put up with him chasing other women. I don't think he is into this multiple marriage thing because it's his 'faith'....he is a DOG plain and simple.

I like the show and the people! I think they are all mature, loving, compassionate and understanding individuals who have found a way to share many things with each other, first and foremost LOVE. If they are all truly what they are portraying...I think we could all learn something from them, this world would be a better place. Bring on Season 2!!!

Last I checked, polygamy was against the law. Why does it seem that nothing is considered wrong anymore? We are supposed to accept everything anyone does and never 'be judgemental'. We no longer have any sense of right and wrong. I'm wondering what the next TLC show will be - "Incest: All in the Family" or "Child Molesters in the Park"? Seriously, is there no limit to what we think is okay?
