'Saturday Night Live': Jon Hamm gives Kenan Thompson a hug

Jon Hamm will take his third turn as host of "Saturday Night Live" this week -- a fact that seems lost on cast member Kenan Thompson.

Thompson -- or is it Kenan Swiss? -- and Hamm are your stars in the three-fer of promos for Saturday's (Oct. 30) episode, which also features musical guest Rihanna. The promos have Hamm consoling Thompson after Kenan gets his facts wrong, a Hamm-and-Swiss joke that isn't, and -- sorry, Jennifer Westfeldt -- Hamm proposing to ... well, you'll see.

Given the airdate, we can probably expect a couple of Halloween-related sketches this week. And if the writers can see their way to having Hamm reprise his James Mason impression from his first hosting gig in October 2008, well, we'd be happy about that.
