'Saturday Night Live': 'Glee's' Jane Lynch intimidates Fred Armisen

snl-fred-armisen-jane-lynch-promo-320.jpgGleeks, you get double the Jane Lynch this week.

Now that we're seen the religion episode of "Glee," we still get to look forward to the Oct. 9 "Saturday Night Live," which Lynch is hosting with Bruno Mars as musical guest. It has to be better than the previous week's "SNL," right?

The question is, how many "Glee" references or spoofs can they make? It's great that they actually show some restraint here and leave that for the show though. If they do a spoof, you know Abby Elliott has to play the Emma role.

Make sure to watch till the end of the promo for a surreal moment a la "Science of Sleep."

What would you like to see Lynch do? We're thinking she -- dressed as Sue Sylvester -- should confront Jason Sudeikis as he's doing the Running Man during "What Up With That?" skit and then bust out her own Running Man. But that's just us.

I never watch SNL but I will watch for Jane Lynch. I'm not a big fan of Glee either (minus the Jane Lynch parts of course) so I hope they don't fill it full of Glee fan service.

Jane is an amazing comedian and an awesome performer and improviser. Just giver her anything and she can do it. It'd be nice to see her do something that wasn't Sue Sylvester.

They'll do a "Glee" parody, it'll suck and everyone will complain about how awfull the show was. Hosting SNL use to be huge, now we can only hope they make it out alive.

First off, I can,t believe that troll got Elisabeth Moss, then left her. Alex is right, anything this show does takes forever to set up, then falls flat.

SNL will likely spoof the president seal falling from the podium. The punchline might be "My podium seal fell off, but you know who I am."

Jane lynch will make us laugh all she has to do is sit on fred armisen. you're right jod he's a troll and what did elizabeth moss see in him.

They did a "What's Up with That?" skit this past week, so most likely they won't do it two weeks in a row. I think it would be a funny skit to have Sue Sylvester go around and lob her classic insults at cast members, telling them how unfunny they are. Oh, wait, that would be pretty much the truth!
