'Modern Family' preview: Earthquake and Nathan Lane

Actor Nathan Lane swings by "Modern Family" when an earthquake shakes up the Pritchett and Dunphy households.

On Wednesday's (Oct. 6) episode, Mitchell and Cam (Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet) are reluctant to attend their friend Pepper's (Lane) costume brunch, when an earthquake hits, giving them a good excuse to miss the party.

Meanwhile, over at the Dunphys, Phil and Claire (Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen) are separated by a bathroom door that's gotten stuck during the quake. That means Claire's going to be chilling with the plumber while Phil is ... well, we'll let you see in the clip below.



And we're including the promo for this episode too just because we think Lily looks adorable.
