'Justified' casts 'Lost' alum Jeremy Davies

jeremy-davies-getty-320.jpgFormer "Lost" star Jeremy Davies is going to make things difficult for Raylan Givens this season.

Davies has joined the cast of FX's "Justified" for Season 2, playing a foil for U.S. marshal Givens (Timothy Olyphant). The role is described as "heavily recurring."

According to The Live Feed, Davies' character -- like Walton Goggins' Boyd Crowder last season -- will have a connection to Raylan's past. His name is Dickie Bennett, a high-school rival of Raylan's who still has a limp as the result of a fight the two had as teenagers. The grudge apparently goes back a couple generations as well.

Dickie is also an ex-con and one of three brothers who have a marijuana-trafficking business.

Davies finished his run as physicist Daniel Faraday on "Lost" in May. He currently co-stars in "It's Kind of a Funny Story"; his other credits include "Saving Private Ryan," "Rescue Dawn" and CBS' 2004 movie "Helter Skelter," in which he played Charles Manson.

Season 2 of "Justified" is scheduled to premiere in February.
