So sorry to see a quality show like Huge has been canceled. Just goes to show people don't want to watch a show that truly portrays the complexity of being overweight in a society that pushes perfection on us. So far, most of my favorite shows haven't got the ax yet. I thought Huge had gotten a lot of positive reviews, but I guess not enough viewers. Maybe it was too painful to recognize many of ourselves from days gone by.
So sad to see Huge getting the ax this show tried so hard for an audience to see a drama about overweight teens at fat camp. I don't know what ABC Family going to do about Melissa & Joey.
There's some many other shows focusing on people struggling with their weight. Move to the. Biggest Loser or Thintervention. No big deal, right ? Sorry if I sound insensitive but I cant relate.
