'Glee': Sam and Quinn feel 'Lucky'
"Glee" tread familiar ground on Tuesday night's (Oct. 12) "Duets," incorporating the songs together well with the storytelling.We have many favorite performances from that episode, including the moving Rachel and Kurt (Lea Michele, Chris Colfer) homage to Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland "Happy Days Are Here Again/Get Happy" mash-up.
It's the Sam and Quinn (Chord Overstreet, Dianna Agron) duet, however, that really captures that sweet, hesitant stage of early romance. We can see and feel the chemistry (anybody still want Sam with Kurt?) and as Santana so accurately observes, they're "so freakin' charming."
Ah, and Kurt's feeling of wistful loneliness just makes this song all the more poignant. The original version by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat is beautiful (Mraz is the king of breaking through our jaded armor), but the interaction between Overstreet and Agron really brings these lyrics home for us.

Adorable, cute, sweetest. They make the best team up on Glee. They are soooo cute. Both vulnerable and just simply adorable together. Match made in heaven!
