'Glee': 'River Deep, Mountain High' soars with Mercedes and Santana

There were many great duets in the "Glee" episode of the same name, but for our money, we thought Santana (Naya Rivera) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) ruled the night with their rendition of Tina Turner's "River Deep, Mountain High."

The vocals were out of sight and the famous Tina Turner dancing was a real treat -- more Santana and Mercedes, please. What do you guys think? Did it rank high on your list of "Duets"?

And did catch the previews for next week's "Rocky Horror Picture Show" episode? We are beyond excited, it looks amazing.

I'm pretty sure it said the next episode was actually in 2 weeks. :(

yes - it's in 2 weeks - baseball playoffs take priority......

This was the best episode musically in a long time simply because we got to hear ALL the glee club members in one night. There is so much talent there, and we rarely get to hear many of the cast members featured. And while solos are wonderful, the duets gave us the added pleasure of collaboration.

P.S. I guess "ALL" is incorrect, b/c Puck was missing. Remind me, why is he in jail???

There is something about Santana's face in that song that makes her look like she's ready to bite someone's head off. Okay but not my favorite of the night.

This was my favorite duet! I loved their voices and the dancing was a treat.

OMG YES! This and Kurt were my favorites of the night! These girls are amazingly talented!!! And Yes... the AWESOME looking Rocky Horror Glee is in 2 weeks! Lame of all LAMES!

Santana and Mercedes's duet was my favorite of the episode. They should've won! Rachel and Finn's "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" was my second fave. I hope S&M sing together more often.

YEZZZZZZZZZ! this was my fav song/performance, thus far, hands down. i cant stop watching on youtube; the classic Tina dancing pulls me in, along with the vocals. harmonies are tight. love when they sing together. i look forward to more Sancedes duets. just hope the writers dont kill it by doing it too much...
