'Glee' Chord Overstreet: 'I'm the Taylor Lautner of TV'

Chord Overstreet's "Glee" character Sam Evans can't seem to keep his shirt on.

The young actor from Nashville claims that Sam pretty much is shirtless in every episode.

"It's funny. They have me in the shower with my shirt off for every episode," he tells Ryan Seacrest's radio show. "You kind of have to stay in good shape. I actually signed that in my contract. It was all about having to have one or two shirts off scenes for every episode. I'm like the Taylor Lautner of TV now."

Well, Sam was discovered singing and getting pruney in the shower, which is where he also had a conversation with Kurt in the latest episode "Duets." We can't recall any shirtlessness in "Grilled Cheesus" though. The upcoming Halloween-themed "Rocky Horror" episode brings back the bare-chested Sam we know and love.

"You're going to hate me for this. I have my shirt off again," Overstreet confesses to Seacrest, who expresses jealousy over the young star's physique.

Apparently, he's not the only one. "Glee" co-stars Cory Monteith and Mark Salling ply Overstreet with cupcakes and chocolate.

On "Duets," Sam and Quinn (Dianna Agron) looked to be starting a relationship, which washes up those rumors that Sam would be a love interest for Kurt. Overstreet thinks the chemistry he has with Agron on screen made creator Ryan Murphy change his mind about that plot.

"I think originally Ryan wanted to bring a football player on the team who was going to be gay," acknowledges Overstreet.

So, what's going on with the actor's real-life love life? He was recently snapped with Rumer Willis, but he claims, "We're just friends."
