'Desperate Housewives': Juanita or not, Gaby's in for it
Right now, the story line we care about the most on "Desperate Housewives" is Gaby and Carlos' predicament with Juanita.
No, not Susan's (Teri Hatcher) strip tease shenanigans. Not Tom's (Doug Savant) male postpartum depression. Uh, uh on Rene (Vanessa Williams) and Bree's (Marcia Cross) tug-of-war over Keith (Brian Austin Green). And no, not even whatever crazy plan Paul (Mark Moses) is cooking up. (By the way, anyone else think his new wife is Felicia's agent?)
What's really getting us is Gaby (Eva Longoria-Parker) and Carlos' (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) predicament with Juanita (Madison De La Garza) being switched at birth. They started the episode -- though Gaby showed some reluctance -- signing away their rights to sue the hospital in exchange for it ending the search for Juanita's real parents.
Then, Gaby had a change of mind after a little girl mistook her for her mother at the mall. She realized she couldn't continue go on without knowing who her real daughter is and if she's okay.
On one hand, it was a typically selfish move on Gaby's part, since she didn't think about the pain she'd put the other family in, as well as her own. On the other hand, it is her daughter somewhere out there and any mother would have the same thoughts Gaby has.
Zappers, do you think Gaby should have contacted the other family or should she have left it all alone as she and Carlos had planned? And how do you think this will all turn out?

I'm actually more interested in the Paul Young story line. The Gaby/Carlos/Juanita thing makes me sad. I would never want to be confronted with something like that. It's a lose lose situation. How can you find your bio child without giving up the child you've raised for 8 years? Besides, I see the writing on the wall. Something is going to be "wrong" with the bio solis kid. Gabby and Carlos will end up losing Juanita which will make Carlos leave Gabby. Carlos made the threat. The show is looking to cut costs so this is the most scandalous way to get rid of the character and actor in the roll.
I do think Paul's wife has something to do with Felicia. I think Felicia is the "momma" she talks about. I counting on that story line to save the show for me this season. So far it's been a big dud. What a waste of talent they are doing to Vanessa Williams. She is so much better than the character they have her playing.
Yep, it's very logical that Beth is the daughter of Felicia so both Paul and Beth are playing the double-crossing game that will most likely end up badly for both.

tired of all the story lines....how many times are can terri hatcher strip on the show....they have jumped the shark....

I agree, if things don't pic up soon that jumped shark is going to swallow them whole
I agree with Chris, I know that Susan has the mind of a teenager and Teri Hatcher "still has it" but I'm really getting tired of her doing obviously stupid things. I've always found her character endearing but I'm starting to want her to grow up a little.
