Dancing With the Stars: Tom Bergeron did mock Bolton, though not with dance
Call it wishful thinking, but we really thought Tom Bergeron's preemptive apology for mocking Michael Bolton on "Lopez Tonight" was for some sort of poorly choreographed opening montage.
Alas, it was not. But it was still a fun little dig. The "Dancing With the Stars" host asked viewers to call in votes for what color tie Lopez should wear for the broadcast and said it was the same method that helped his series get rid of Michael Bolton.
Ba-dum-chhh. Here's the clip in full, but please don't call in. The episode already aired, and experience tells us not to trust 555 numbers.

do you realized that michael bolton was my one and only singer in the 80's ? i loved all his songs

I can understand that Michael was hurt by the comments. However, in my opinion, Michael should grow a pair. If he had treated the situation with humor all would have been well. As it is, he came across like a spoiled child.
I'm glad Bolton is gone. He was absolutely terrible. What a baby he was about the whole thing. Unreal!
