'CSI': First look at Katee Sackhoff as Det. Frankie Reed
"CSI" is welcoming "Battlestar Galactica" alum Katee Sackhoff as Detective Frankie Reed in an upcoming episode called "Cold Blooded." The CSI team investigates the murder of a college student and guest-star Sackhoff's tough, smart Reed helps the team on a missing persons case. The episode airs Thursday, Oct. 28.Sackhoff can also be seen reprising the role of herself on "The Big Bang Theory" Thursday, Oct. 14. She reappears in Wolowitz's imagination as his love guide, alongside fellow Sci-Fi actor George Takei.
What do you think of Sackhoff trading in her usual blonde hair for the fiery red? We approve. "CSI" airs Thursday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Red hair. Huh.
Not a fan.
Thanks for ruining 24
24 Sucked the last 3 seasons. Did she help? Not at all, but she was far from the main reason the show sucked at the end.
I might start watching CSI again.
They wanted her for the character that Lauren Lee Smith played but CBS apparently forced them to go with Lauren instead, then they fired Lauren for the fans bailing on CSI when really it was Lawrence Fishburn's character being forced down our throats. I just don't like Katee that much she's not that great.
24 sucked, BATTLESTAR RULES!!! GO STARBUCK!!!
Give her a chance, people.
She didn't ruin 24...the writers of 24 ruined 24 by regurgitating the same story arcs for 8 seasons (or 4, at least).
Agreed, she hasn't yet found the punch she had with the Starbuck role, but that doesn't mean she never will.
Besides, CSI could do worse. I'm still wondering when Petersen is going to show up again...probably sweeps.
In fact, CSI did do worse.
They allowed that overexposed twit Bieber onto the set!
I'm looking forward to seeing Katee return to TV. Loved her on BSG and I'm hoping she can breathe new life in to CSI.
