'America's Next Top Model' is a fairy tale, meows ex-judge Paulina Porizkova

Why isn't the headline **** instead of M EOW? Haha lol porr, sad thins. Looks like dat divet miss than preta the divet's stoopid rule is selectively inforced. sad.

The only way she's relevant is through her connection with the show. She was a model, what, 25 years ago? What is she doing now, besides following the Janice Dickinson Guide to Becoming a Joke (which is funny that she dissed her in the article when she's following her career path: become a model, date celebrities, write a book, be a judge on a modeling show, act like a holier than thou see-you-next-Tuesday when you get sacked)? Top Model, as ridiculous as it may be, is still doing well and it's not like she ever brought any true fashion cred to the show. Have fun with that skeleton of a husband, darling.

This does seem a bit unnecessarily catty for Paulina, but considering it's the absolute truth, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she was just being blunt. These girls are only on this show because real modeling agencies want nothing to do with them. Which is why Tyra keeps peppering the roster with girls "she" finds online or at her talk show... girls who haven't bothered to walk into an agency yet. Besides, Paula was always game to oversee any moronic challenge they threw the models' way, especially in a season in which Tyra could barely be bothered to show up. Tyra simply does not want to be upstaged by another woman, which is why Paulina was fired (cuz she was better at it!) and why that spot at the judging table has been taken by a man ever since.

While Paulina may be a bit too catty here, I do have to agree with her. There are very few models this show's produced that have had any real long term success save possibly Elyse from the first season, Dani(elle) and then both Nicole's (Fox and Linkletter).

Even then, none are a "top" model - just getting good work.

I do think she's still holding a grudge against Tyra, and with decent reason - unlike Andre Leon Talley, I believe the person she was replaced with, Paulina gave good critiques - positive and negative. Even Miss Jay did the same thing.

Oh, and it was to EVERYONE, including Tyra's pet favorites.

The only one who gives any true critiques to anyone now is Nigel, and even I notice he treads carefully around ones who are obviously Tyra's favorites for the same fear of reprimand/firing.

Stop demeaning yourself. I thought you were better than that. You've complained about Anna Wintour, Tyra, Naomi, Twiggy...If you want to make it post modeling, create something yourself and, if not, shut up. As for her crtique of the models, I never thought that she was so good. I miss Twiggy. She is wooden and stiff, which probably led to her early exit on Dancing with Stars. There are really very few to no supermodels these days. Most people cant even name models, unlike the golden years of 80s and 90s. Also, celebs have taken over magazine covers, so its unfair to say that ANTM models aren't successful. Are they as successful as Tyra Banks, Cyndi Crawford, Linda E., Naomi. No. Why, because with exception of Giselle and a few others the times have changed. What's most patehetic is that for all her moaning, Paulina would be there today were she not fired for due to her attitude. And, now I see why.

One more thing. Andre Tally is, like Anna Wintour, a legend. There's no comparison btwn Andre and Paulina. Models run to those two in an effort to kiss the brass ring in the hope that they will evenually become successful models. RALPH: learn a bit about fashion and the industry. I guarnatee you that millions of girls would line up for hours for 5 minutes with Andre Tally. I can't say the same about Paulina. In fact, the young girls probably don't even know her, unlike Cyndi Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Christy Brinkley, Giselle and Tyra Banks.
