'American Idol' Lee DeWyze: 'Sweet Serendipity' hits the airwaves

"American Idol" winner Lee DeWyze has released his first single, titled "Sweet Serendipity." It was a last minute change from "Live It Up," which was to be his first single released off his album of the same name, which drops Nov. 16.
DeWyze debuted "Sweet Serendipity" on Ryan Seacrest's morning radio show Wednesday (Oct. 13). Listen to it below.

Definitely DISAGREE. All his previous songs are on my ipod and the new album has been pre-ordered. I love how he always keeps us guessing. Great voice, great vibe - Good job Lee!

This song has a bouncy, pop sound, you can dance to this. SO, glad this was released. I think the rest of the album will be more folksy, rock like Lee said. I think Mamasox who is now officially Walkersox, is nothing but happy for Lee.

Not Lee's fault for sure. The proof is "I'm only dreaming", which is a new song he revealed in Arlington park performance, beautiful. This is generic, bland, extremely disappointing.
The song is good, the voice is GREAT. He definitaly deserved to win Idol! Can't wait for his whole album to be released!
