The real TV season begins Monday.
I know its a long shot but I do hope ABC will bring back The Gates next summer. The show was actually better than I thought it would be and thoroughly enjoyed the multiple cliff hangers.
I really liked The Gates. Too bad. ABC will never renew it. Now we'll never know what Charlie has become.
Maybe The Gates might have done better if ABC had promoted it. This article was the first time I'd ever heard of this show, and I'm always haunting sites like this.
I'm so bummed out that The Gates will almost certainly not be renewed. I really enjoyed it and was surprised that it wasn't a horrible show as I was expecting. It ended with a hell of a cliffhanger. Maybe we'll get lucky with a second season or a TV movie to wrap up loose ends, but I'm not holding my breath.
i really liked the gates...i agree it was not promoted good at all...i am a tv junkie so always find good shows that most people miss...with the vampire craze right now if this show was promoted correctly it would have been a hit...its the perfect vampired show for people that think true blood is too much and vampires diaries is too young...i personally watch all 3 shows but i will miss this.
im glad the summer shows are done, it all starts tonight, with the return of CHUCK and new shows like The Event and Hawaii 5-O
I'll miss The Gates. Very Good Show, Just like Happy Town & Scoundrels. Only Summer series that I watch besides Big Brother (the only reality that I would ever watch). Damn ABC...
I can't believe The Gates didn't do better in the ratings, it was an awesome show and I never missed an episode. All of different families and how they intertwined was very interesting. I also watch VD and TB, and I love them all. ABC... BRING BACK THE GATES NEXT SUMMER!!!!!
Fox had two re-runs of The Simpsons from 7PM-8PM, not Family Guy. Fox had re-runs of The Simpsons from 7PM-8:30PM and Family Guy from 8:30PM-10PM.
