How did NBC average 14.3 million viewers when no hour got over 13.8 million?

Maybe i am missing something but how could NBC average 14.3 million viewers if no single hour got over 13.8 million viewers?

I'm sick of people treating AGT as a Popularity Contest - it is NOT. Just like with AI - that, too is disgusting. People should vote for The Best, NOT the cutest. Am surprised the Jason Castro didn't win AI- after all, he was cuter than David Cook. Well, it's Official - I'm thru with both shows. Why bother... The Best may NOT make a Winner anyway. They should Rename it America's Cutest or America Gotcha. Surely, people can't hear or see Talent if it hits them in the eye. Not that Michael is mot good, just NOT good enough to be the Winner. The Angel should've, hands down.

OMG, its copy and paste Carina, she always posts stuff wrong!!!

NBC hasnt average 14.3 million viwers since the 80s!!!

WOW...Castle got trampled!!!

Sorry guys - I had a typo on the 9 p.m. hour for NBC. They DID average 14.4 million viewers.

oh look, M eow is at it again, she just Copied and pasted her own comment, porr sad thin

COPY and PASTE Carina is at it again!!!

NBC hasnt averaged 14.3 million viwers since the 80s!!!! LOL, poor thing.

Jessica, I know the 14.3 is the average for the entire night but the original numbers posted didn't have NBC at 18.2 million viewers for that hour, hence my comment. The original numbers had NBC at just over 13 million.

The 14.3 million is the average of the entire night for NBC. AGT at 9pm had over 18 million viewers.
