'Top Chef: DC': Angelo, Ed or Kevin FTW? Vote!

top-chef-dc-final-3-320.jpgAfter "Top Chef's" Emmy-winning season in Vegas, the Bravo culinary franchise took to the nation's capital to up the stakes.

"Top Chef: DC" concludes its seventh season on Wednesday, Sept. 15 in Singapore, where finalists Angelo Sosa, Ed Cotton and Kevin Sbraga vie for the coveted title, money, prestige and of course, lovely Kenmore appliances.

In the all-male finale, the chef'testants appropriately get help from all-male former champions: Hung Huynh, Michael Voltaggio and Ilan Hall.

Let's break down how each has done this season thus far:

Angelo Sosa - The New Yorker specializes in Asian cuisine, which is why the Singapore finale has particular appeal (and pressure) for him. He's won two elimination challenges and a whopping four quickfires. He's stumbled a bit lately, and his rather cocky perfectionism has rubbed some the wrong way. No one can doubt his passion for food though.

Ed Cotton - This Queens chef who originally hails from Boston was a dark horses who found his stride as the season wore on, racking up the quickfire and elimination wins (three apiece) in the more recent episodes and even out-cooking Angelo at his own Asian game. He's generally been a fairly affable player, with a notable friendship with the previously eliminated Tiffany Derry and burning hatred for suspected pea puree thief Alex Reznik.

Kevin Sbraga - The self-proclaimed beast in the kitchen prides himself on clean, American fare with a little French influence, but has the worst record of the three, with only one elimination and one quickfire win under his toque. He's landed in the bottom a humbling five times. He's probably been the most inconsistent competitor this season.

Angelo, kinda by default.

Ed is a colossal a-hole and Kevin just plain sucks half of the time, so... yeah.

I was all for Ed until this past week - it was a seriously douchey move to convince everyone else to only cook one dish and then claim "I had planned 2 all along"... I really hope he doesn't win now.

I choose the biggest A-hole of all, Kevin.

Ed = pompous ***.
Anyone butt him.

Kenny was the "beast of the kitchen", not Kevin. Do everyone a favor - do a little research, get your facts straight, and then publish the article.
