'The Rachel Zoe Project': On or off the baby train?

We're all used to the usual crazy of award shows and Fashion Week, which basically make up "The Rachel Zoe Project" every season, but what seems to get in everyone's jeweled clutch are the constant complaints from Rachel's husband, Rodger Berman.
In Tuesday's (August 31) episode, the RZ team has gone to Milan Fashion Week to stalk the shows for Oscar dresses for their clients. Along the way, Rachel feels a fit of spontaneity when client-friend Kate Hudson needs her services for a last-minute show in London. After a day of Kate being "oh, so easy, breezy" while Rachel tells her how everything she does wreaks of roses, it's back to the gown hunt. Rachel then discovers that her favorite dresses, which were supposedly promised to her, were given to other celebs with six days left until the Oscars.
We're really not worried about Rachel and her clients. She always gets them the right dress for the perfect red carpet moment. We're worried for Rodger, who seems to be increasingly agitated about their marriage lately. Sure, he has always complained about not spending enough time with Rachel (especially during fashion weeks and awards season), but now we have a new element. He wants a baby. In fact, Rachel's sister wants them to have a baby. Even Kate wants Rachel to pop out a tiny little heiress to the RZ Dynasty. The big problem is does Rachel want one?
We can't recall that Rachel has actually said anything definitively about whether she wants a child or not, but it's clear she's sick of hearing about it (especially when she's having a Missoni moment).
We wonder how far the baby train will chug without Rachel hopping on and how long will Rodger wait around at the station for her do so. It's pretty huge for a couple to disagree about having children and it can tear apart a marriage.
Do you think it's time Rachel slowed down and boarded the baby train or do you think Rodger should respect that Rachel wants to work on expanding her business and not her family?

She doesn't seem to want children which is unfortunate for her husband. I wonder if they had the the conversation early on in their relationship and she kept on avoiding it.
He seems to want children and although you can have a good relationship without children investing 10 years into a marriage is a huge chunk of your life.
What is he suppose to do?
That is the real question.
You can't turn back time.
Is he suppose to look for another wife? a younger woman? 10 years are gone...
I guess we will see.
This is a BIG problem for them. Her clock's ticking, she's ignoring it, AND she's ignoring her husband. Bad move. WE can see his frustration - why can't she? I hope they resolve this soon or Rodger may leave...
Rachel needs to slow down long enough to fisrt take care of herself and then her husband (put him first for a change).
She is way too skinny and unhealthy looking. It is not attractive and if people around her really care, they would do an intervention. She looks 15 years older than she probably is. She is a tough cookie and a true mental case. :-(
I think Rachel would admit she doesn't want children if this was something women were allowed to admit. But sadly even in 2010 women really aren't allowed to make such a statement without being pegged selfish, especially when the husband wants children. The interesting part to me is this seems to be a new want that's in overdrive. I don't recall Rodger mentioning children in past seasons now it's all he can talk about. They are visiting a designer and the whole visit gives him a family dynasty aha moment or something. I think he wants more of her attention and he thinks if they have a baby her focus will change from her business to homemaking. Which is a shame because I don't think her priorities have changed.
I think the first question is, can she even physically have a baby? As skinny as she is, I am willing to bet a LOT of money that she doesn't menstruate and that her reproductive system is currently shut down. There is no way her body is strong enough to carry a baby. And it's sad. Not only for Rodger, but also because I happen to be a fan of the super-skinny and people always knock it - but may be secretly jealous . . .
I think the reason she doesn't want a baby is because she just doesn't want to gain any weight..
I don't feel sorry for her husband, she has been extremely thin for a long time, and he knows it..
She's actually closer to 49 years old - so the likelihood she could have one without help (or a donor egg) is pretty unlikely...
She is 39 years old. No where near 49.
There's no shame in not wanting to be a mother. Granted, she and Rodger should have worked this out a long time ago, but then again, people's priorities do change.
What would be really tragic, is if she has a baby to appease him, and then basically turns the child over to the care of nannies. And what about Rodger? Why is he so keen to reproduce? What on earth leads him to believe that this fashion dervish that is his wife is suddenly going to be satisfied with heating up formula and changing diapers?
If she's not 49, it's unfortunate, because she looks it. Wonder why no one she rolls with will suggest she would look younger with 5 more pounds on her (or 10). A shame she'll never have a baby with Rodger, not only are her eggs too old, but like the earlier poster, I'm willing to bet she's too thin to ovulate. Her only loves seem to be her clothes and herself; she can't be bothered with husband pleasing anyway.
