Pro Mark Ballas visits 'Dancing with the Stars' alums 'Melissa & Joey'

He may have his work cut out for him making a winner out of the admittedly unschooled Bristol Palin, but "Dancing with the Stars" pro Mark Ballas still has time for extracurricular activities. He's heading to the September 28 episode of ABC Family's "Melissa & Joey." Series stars Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence appeared on the ABC competition in Seasons 3 and 9, respectively, so it makes sense that they'd pay tribute to their career-reviving roots on their new project.
And there'll be no subtlety in this homage. Titled "Dancing With the Stars of Toledo," Ballas appears as himself in the episode, when Toledo councilwoman Mel (Hart) signs up to compete in a local "Dancing with the Stars"-themed charity event -- despite having no idea how to dance.
Something tells us Ballas and Hart's dance doesn't exactly come to fruition, because in all of the promotional shots for the episode, Ballas is dancing with Lawrence, not his Season 9 "DWTS" partner.
Excited? Well, you haven't heard the best part. Ballas and Hart aren't the only reuniting co-stars. The dance is apparently judged by Finola Hughes, Lawrence's "Blossom" stepmother. This show is just one nostalgia trip after another.
