MTV 2010 VMA: Justin Bieber's 'Baby' and 'Somebody to Love' rock downtown LA

Justin Bieber reminded us all how very young he is when he showed up to MTV's 2010 Video Music Awards riding in the back seat of a convertible while sporting a classic red and white letter jacket.

Appropriately, Kim Kardashian introduced Bieber, complete with all the requisite mentions of jailbait and restraining orders. Now she's just asking for the Biebettes to hate-tweet her.

Bieber performed "Baby" and "Somebody to Love" outside of Staples Center for a gaggle of screaming girls (who may have been more his demographic than the rappers and rockers hanging out inside). As always, we were impressed by his vocals - and unsure that they were actually live - and a little disturbed by how very young he is.

It makes us feel highly unaccomplished.

Bieber is nominated for Best New Artist, which is voted for by the fans. Does anyone else really have a prayer?
