Ken Jenkins checks in at 'Cougar Town,' 'Jersey Shore's' record ratings

Thursday night's (Sept. 3) "Jersey Shore" posted the highest-rated telecast MTV has had in the 12-34 demographic in eight years. 6.5 million total viewers tuned in, while the 18-49 demo posted a 3.3 rating, which topped every other show, cable or broadcast. [MTV]

If you like "Pretty Little Liars," you might want to check "First Day" - the new web series from the creators and executive producers of "Pretty Little Liars" and "The Vampire Diaries." "First Day" revolves around Cassie Mitchell being stuck, "Groundhog Day"-like, in the most embarrassing, dorkifying first day of school ever. [First Day]

A&E is breaking out the unaired episodes of "Steven Seagal Lawman." The show was stopped when Seagal was accused of sexual harassment back in April, but now that the case has been dropped, eight more episodes will air this fall. Somebody alert "The Soup." [Live Feed]
