Katharine McPhee
is returning to the silver screen. She is joining Chris Carmack, Alyssa Diaz, Joel David Moore and Sinqua Walls in "Shark Night 3D," a horror movie about college kids at a lake house who are terrorized by sharks. We wish "USA Up! All Night" was still around. [Variety]

"Idol" reject Ian Bernardo, who didn't like the way he was treated during the Season 9 finale, has refiled his lawsuit -- down to $100M from $300M. So it's good to know he's still crazypants. [TMZ]

Jordin Sparks has injured her hip during an "In the Heights" performance and is temporarily out of the show. No return date has been set. Get well soon, Jordin! [Broadway]

"Good Morning America's" Robin Roberts is going behind-the-scenes with Nashville's biggest stars, including "American Idol" winner Carrie Underwood. The "In the Spotlight: All Access Nashville" airs Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC. [ABC]

USA Up All Night was awesome. Gilbert Gottfried, Rhonda Shear, and a never ending supply of low budget cheesy movies made for a fun Friday/Saturday night. I miss that show.

Way to go Katherine. Beautiful girl, beautiful voice. Get those screams up and running for your scary movie. Break a leg!!!
