Justin Bieber on 'CSI': Bombs away!
In the Season 11 premiere of "CSI," Justin Bieber guest-starred as a teen who set off a series of three bombs at a police officer's funeral. How'd he do as a "CSI" villain?Bieber wasn't seen until about half-way through the episode, but he popped up as Jason McCann, a wayward teen who was part of an off-the-grid fringe group shirking authority and any kind of way the government could keep tabs on them.
Jason and his brother Alex were upset because their adopted father-figure Ralph was arrested, so Alex started making bombs. When Alex is gunned down outside a store buying hydrochloric acid, we're led to believe they've caught their serial bomber. Except ... was it Bieber instead of his brother?
But wait a minute - is Bieber going to come back to "CSI" as a season-long mad bomber? We aren't sure how we feel about that.
What did you think of the Biebs on "CSI"?

Obnoxious overacting. Just like his personality. Hope he doesn't do it again.
"[Is] Bieber going to come back to "CSI" as a season-long mad bomber? We aren't sure how we feel about that."
That's what you thought about Bill Irwin. Between this and the Katy Perry incident, we thirtysomethings aren't going to look at "Sesame Street" the same way as it enters decade number five.
Loved the episode. I think that having Justin on the Premiere of CSI brought a lot of new viewers to the show. I personally have loved CSI for awhile. I am offically hooked for the rest of the season. I can't wait to see the next episode Justin does (he is doing another 1) and what the rest of the season unravels.
I've been watching hours of CSI daily now for the past 5 years, ive seen people like t-swizzle and more, but Bieber isnt someone i want to listen to, nor watch on one of my favourite tv series, this may cause me to not watch CSI this season.
Bieber sucked. When he was being asked questions, I wondered how many attempts it took to get his voice not to crack for that scene. and still, it was raspy and annoying, just like his music.
I thought Justin did a decent job. He managed to make me watch a show I don't normally do (got burned out by it years ago, I prefer regular cop shows). I'll only be tuning in again for his 2nd episode.
To the writer: Where do you get the idea Justin would continue to pop up all season long? He'll be back for 1 more and that's it I'm sure.
RE: Carrie U... You (like others will be) are just using this as yet another excuse to rag on and show hate towards Justin. Wouldn't matter if he'd done a mind blowingly good job, you'd still have said what you did here. He over acted? Hardly. If you want to see REAL over acting, check out Susan Lucci (the Queen of Over Acting). What did you expect from him in this... an Emmy or Oscar winning performance? He's NEW at it. Cut him some slack.
RE: All Non-Justin fans... You don't care for his music? That's fine. But I just don't get why you direct so much hate and anger towards him, not just as a singer but as a person. Justin seems like a genuinely nice person and I don't think he deserves the negative treatments he gets, the personal attacks.
And no I'm not some little Teeny-bopper teen fan. I'm just an older average/casual fan and honestly puzzled by those who treat him so negatively.
I thought I read where he only comes back in episode 15.
So, CBS. You have an aging (some say it should have died when Peterson left) series in need of a boost in the ratings. The advertisers have come to you and threw a demographic chart at you, making you realize that your shows base age is some where in the mid to late 30s. The twitchy ad executives say "make this show younger. We can't sell Twilight-like crap to these older people. They know its all crap."
Then someone thinks, well what about this Justin Bieber kid? He may have horrible hair, but the tweens lurv him. Lets get him on our aging, long-in-the-tooth drama that is basically the same episode again and again and maybe will get that younger crowd to watch. And the advertisers will rejoice.
Desperate much, CSI and CBS? This is why I don't watch your network. It sucks (except for NCIS, and I only watch it when I remember).
CSI with it guts & gore is past it's heyday. I only watch it out of desperation; meaning VERY infrequantly. The fact that this irritating kid bieber (what a nerdy last name - couldn't he have given himself a more appealing stage name) was on was a reason NOT to watch it.Of course I am not a 12 year old girl, lol. So I guess they are going after a much younger demographic?
I thought he did pretty good. Not a fan of his in any way, but I think he played hid part spot on. And I think we'll see him at least one more time this season. Just by how it ended.
