'Great Food Truck Race': Grill 'Em All or Nom Nom FTW? Vote!
The truck stops here in the Food Network inaugural "The Great Food Truck Race."
For the Sunday (Sept. 19) finale, the final two contenders -- the Grill 'Em All truck and Nom Nom truck -- go engine to engine in New York City to sell the most specialty foods and take home the $50,000 prize.
Even though both teams are from Los Angeles, they couldn't be more different. Let's break it down:
Grill 'Em All - They've got an edgy rocker vibe, and their logo is inspired by Metallica. They specialize in fancy burgers with catchy names like "Behemoth" and "Molly Hatchet." Although they've been close to elimination three times, they were saved when the Nana Queens experienced unexpected fryer problems and later they won two Truck Stops, which show that they have solid cooking skills.
Nom Nom - Their bright green cheery truck features a super cute "Nomster" nomming on the logo. They serve up Vietnamese banh mi (french bread baguette sandwiches with marinated meat and lightly pickled carrot and daikon) and Viet-style tacos. Their solid business savvy has kept them on top every week -- winning them the selling challenge for five weeks in a row -- often by teaming up with local businesses for each city they visit.

Nom Nom has definitely been a powerhouse, but it's made for a boring season. Can't really root for Grill 'Em All either because that whiny guy really annoys me. Oh well, good for whichever side wins.
Am SO hoping that Nom Nom wins. They work so hard, are so cheerful and nice. I really think they have the quality that deserves to win. They've been a real pleasure to watch. Yours truly, Peggy
Nom Nom clearly deserves to win because they dominated this competition. I kind of want to see Grill Em All win just to shake things up in the final episode. Having said that, I was really rooting for Spencer on The Go to win. I had written them off at first sighting, but I grew to respect them.
I'm watching right now and I am on the edge of my seat hoping Nom Nom wins. They've been amazing so far and I've been rooting for them since the 1st episode. They work SO hard. They deserve it 100% Go Nom Nom!

I'm so mad nom nom lost. They were by FAR the hardest working truck on the entire show. I think its such BS. Burgers are by far an easier selling point than the Bahn Mi. Such bullshit. Grill 'em all sucks.
This show is a scam. How can you have a truck stop when a burger is so much easier than Naom Naom menu. Anything to get them back in the race.. I will never watch this or any other food network show like this again.........

So glad they lost - they were so obnoxious! When their team said that "the Bronx just wasn't their 'demographic," it came off as such a racially charged euphemism from people who just don't know New York. I would have been angry if they had won - their arrogance was overwhelming throughout the episode!
