'Glee': Adam Shankman directing 'The Rocky Horror Glee Show'
So it turns out Ryan Murphy isn't the one getting the directing honors for "Glee's" "Rocky Horror Picture Show" homage. If TwitPics are to be taken at face value, then the Halloween episode is being helmed by Adam Shankman, the choreographer, "Hairspray" director and "So You Think You Can Dance" judge.
Shankman let the news slip, with a sarcastic tweet ("Which episode am I directing??? I'll never tell"), accompanied by a shot of Cory Monteith, Lea Michele and himself flipping through the script of "The Rocky Horror Glee Show."
Shankman was first announced as one of Season 2's directors in August, but it wasn't clear when he'd be stepping in. At the TCA Summer Press Tour, Ryan Murphy had said that he'd be directing the episode.
No word on what songs from the "Rocky Horror" catalog will make it into the episode, but the film's stars Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf are both confirmed as guests.
And for now, here's the full shot of the trio hanging out in Rachel Berry's bedroom. Weirdest slumber party ever!

Wait, if Shankman is directing Rocky Horror, what's Eric Stoltz doing on the set? One of the Glee kids mentioned the other day that he was there.
Eric Stolz is directing Duets, episode 4. He may have been there for post production or the cast has been filming multiple shows at once.
I was actually hoping they would do Michael Jackson's "Thriller," but it makes more sense to do Rocky Horror. There's more to go on, but I'm still excited they’re doing a Halloween episode this season! I just hope they do an awesome Christmas/Holiday episode also.
Note to Ryan Murpy & Glee: enough with the tribute episodes to artists, especially the live ones.
the Gaga episode wasn't a tribute [not much to tribute anyway XD]... so technically they only have 2 tribute episodes
I'm not a huge Glee fan but I'm totally excited for this ep!Best movie ever and this could turn me into a Gleek! :)
I am an over 50 Gleek who watched Rocky Horror from the beginning. What a perfect idea.
