'Desperate Housewives' preview: Vanessa Williams has landed
When we heard "Ugly Betty's" Vanessa Williams was joining Season 7 of "Desperate Housewives," we weren't sure how the other women would stand up against her.
Well, it seems that the show chose the right housewife to pit Williams' character, Renee, against: Lynette (played by Felicity Huffman).
Renee was Lynette's college roommate and they definitely have a combative shtick going.
Later, we hear that Renee and Bree (Marcia Cross) will vie for Keith's (Brian Austin Green) affections, but for now it seems Lynette has her in check. Or, does she?

I MISS UGLY BETTY. Vanessa is brilliant but I still liked her better as Wilhelmina.
sad you can tell a show has jumped the shark when they start filling it up with a select list of Hollywood Zombies...
the last couple seasons were about introducing gay characters you would have thought it was filmed in the Castro District ...
Now Vanessa ... whats next Rosie ODonald or Alan Thicke?
There is already an exit date for this show I really hope they don't poison it and leave a bad memory in our minds of a show many of us enjoyed watching all this time
Still a top ten show after all these years...I LOVE Vanessa Williams, as do LOTS of people...Plus, those previews are freaking hilarious!
