'Dancing With the Stars': What did Tom Bergeron do to Michael Bolton?
As you may know, we're recent Tom Bergeron converts. So while it pains us that he can't host every show on television, at least everyone keeps an open guest chair for him. The "Dancing With the Stars" M.C. visits George Lopez for the Sept. 30 broadcast. And apparently he kicks off the episode with a dig at the recently eliminated Michael Bolton -- who's currently on a publicity tour to shame judge Bruno Tonioli for being "too mean." [Editor's note: being a seasoned, 57-year-old performer doesn't make you immune from criticism, but it really should mean you should know how to take it.]
So what exactly did Bergeron do to shame Bolton for the second time in one week? All we know of it is an apology clip released by "Lopez Tonight" (below), in which he makes a tongue-in-cheek plea to Bolton: "It's important that we really, really white people stick together. They made me do that opening sketch."
Oh Bergs, you kill us -- though not as much as the time we'll have to wait to find out what you did. Our very reasonable guess involves him in something animal print, crawling out of a prop dog house (fingers crossed) to vaguely recognizable muzak. Bruno Tonioli was out of line giving Michael Bolton a grade of 3 for his dancing on top of his rude and sarcastic remarks about his dancing. No one has ever received a "3" before and Michael was no worse than other dancers who have been on the show. Bruno forgets the entertainers appearing on the show are not dancers but merely doing the best they can. Tom Bergerone's remarks are a double insult to Michael Bolton. I wonder how both of them would stack up in a singing contest being judged by Michael Bolton?

Tom is always a gentleman and he even scolded Bruno for the way he treated Michael Bolton. I never liked Bruno anyway, but he was totally rude to Michael. No one deserves to be treated like that.
I hope Bruno gets the boot next year. Tired of his antics.
Shirley, people have received 3's before, Steve Wozniak and Tucker Carlson, to name two. Also Master P received a score of 2 from Bruno and Len. Michael needs to just get over it and stop whining.
If judges are not supposed to give anyone a 3, why is there a 3 in the paddle stack? And has anyone noticed that Carrie Ann gave Bolton a 4?? Granted, it's 33% higher than Bruno's score, but still. . . .
Get over this stupid flap, folks! Bolton sucked. Bruno said what was on his mind. Move on.
BRUNO was rude....and fresh in his tone of voice...Michael had some nice steps that he learned...I would like to hear BRUNO sing next week on the show...and have Michael rate him in the same tone of voice....but why stoop so low...
Michael Bolton's whining just shows what a diva he is. He was concerned that his 90 year old mother was in the audience, and heard Bruno's comments. If anyone had asked Mom, she probably would have said he sucked too!
From the clips I have seen on TV, Um Michael you were not that great. Remember that DWTS is a reality type show. It is not like the results of the show are going to go against what you do for a living, but the whining might. Get over it! If you suck at dancing, well, you just suck at it.
So Michael you can't dance, neither can alot of other people..they just don't whine about it...you are,however, an amazing singer!
