'Dancing With the Stars': Michael Bolton boogies on home
"Dancing With the Stars" sent its second celebrity home this week when singer Michael Bolton and his pro partner Chelsie Hightower were eliminated from the competition. Unlike David Hasselhoff's elimination last week, which came a bit of a shock, Bolton going home wasn't a surprise to anyone. His jive to "Hound Dog" went over like a lead balloon with the judges, who put his score a good six points below the next lowest couple. Bolton did not love Bruno in particular, calling Bruno's comments inappropriate before he was eliminated from the show.
Judges' comments aside, Bolton looked like a foal learning to walk out there. He was awkward and uncoordinated, so this elimination is right on. The other couple in danger (though not necessarily the second-lowest couple) was The Situation and Karina Smirnoff, which is also not a huge shock.

Yes he sucked and I don't like how he took the comments so personally. The truth hurts!
Thanks, KT. Just a brain fart, I can tell the difference, haha. I fixed the post.
Edyta is not the Situation's partner. Karinia is.
Sorry...I didn't spell her name correctly. Karina..whoops :)
I cannot understand why Brooke kept harping on how it was such a shock that the HOF is gone--He was awful!!!!
Michael Bolton looks kind of sick, i honestly feel sorry for him
I'll admit, Michael Bolton was not that great, but because of Bruno's brutal comments and low score, I would have liked to see him go through. Good for Michael for defending himself! Shame on you Bruno!
Bruno was right. Bolton obviously wasn't even trying. He was the least involved dancer since Master P.
Sorry to see Michael go. Bruno was very, very rude and you know what Bruno?::you didn't score points with the viewers, in fact you are at the bottom of the list.
Tell me, why are British judges so rude: maybe a little insecure would be the answer.
Bruno isn't British; he is Italien.
Len (who IS British) was correct in what he said last night; there are ways to critique without being rude and Bruno did cross a line. I think there is something more going on - perhaps Bolton was being difficult with Chelsie or with the staff of the show. I think these kinds of things do impact the judges' behavior when it comes time to critique and score performances.
