Conan's new show is ... 'Conan'

The world has been waiting with bated breath to find out the title of Conan O'Brien's new late-night show on TBS. Or at least TV critics and O'Brien fans, who come to think of it have probably been breathing normally.O'Brien teased on Twitter Tuesday (Aug. 31) that he would be revealing the show's title on Wednesday, and so it came to be. Are you ready? OK, here goes:
Conan's new show, premiering Nov. 8, is called "Conan." Apparently the people remaking "Conan the Barbarian" -- and who were planning to call the 2011 flick "Conan" -- were OK with O'Brien using his own name, and really, we doubt there will be much confusion between the two.
So "Conan" (or is that "Conaw"?) it is. We'll let the man himself explain the nuances of the title.

Conan Conan Conan it's all about CONAN. My prediction: Skip it.
And like most viewers, I will be zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......
My prediction is no matter how good or bad Conans' ratings, Jay Lamo will be given the boot by this time next year as the new execs come to realize he just isn't that funny except to children and the mentally challenged ... do they collect ratings on that demo?
The end certainly made me laugh. "It's November of THIS YEAR! Hey, put that sandwich down!"

Funny how the anti-Conan fans come here and think were offended by the fact that they "won't be watching." NO ONE CARES. I will be watching like I have been since 1993. Say what you will about Conan O'Brien, it will have no affect on the people that currently watch his show. And yes, I F***ING LOVE Craig Ferguson.
Ready for Conan to be back on TV.

Just what late night needs another talkshow. Leno and Letterman should both retire taking Imus and Stern with them. As for Conan, a week after his show begins no one will care, have people been making a big deal about Lopez? Conan's future is looking really bland.
