'Camp Rock 2' peek: Trailer and choreography

"Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" comes just in time to cheer us up before the school year starts up again.

The Disney Channel original movie premieres Friday, Sept. 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and is a sequel to 2008's hit starring Demi Lovato and the Jonas Bros.

The Camp Rockers have returned to see familiar faces, make new friends and in general just have fun and rock out. Shane (Joe Jonas), who's been on tour with his band/brothers Connect 3, wants to follow up on his crush from last summer, Mitchie (Lovato). It's not going to be all sweetness, lanyard-making and happy tunes though since Camp Rock now has a rival.

Camp Star across the lake is glitzier, richer and more importantly, stealing all of Camp Rock's counselors and staff. To keep Camp Rock from going out of business, Mitchie organizes a showdown -- the Final Jam -- with winner taking all.
