'American Idol': First look at the judges actually judging

It's a first look at the brand new "American Idol" judges panel actually judging! Or at least getting ready to judge. Producer Nigel Lythgoe tweeted the above picture, it shows him, the three judges (Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson, occupying Simon's old spot, oh ho!) and host Ryan Seacrest setting up to begin the judging contestants in New Jersey.As we've said before, we're excited about the new judges panel after seeing them in person at the announcement last Wednesday (Sept. 22). Nigel's picture just gets us antsier for the show to come back.
Are you excited for the new panel of judges? How about the changes in format? "American Idol" Season 10 debuts in January 2011.

Wouldn't call what I am feeling as excited, possibly curious. This show has lost it glow, so hopefully it can regain some of it back. Love Tyler, so will look forward to at least checking in from time to time and maybe, making it a weekly thing. Who knows???
