TV ratings: 'Bachelor Pad' gets a demo win, CBS leads Monday overall

Fast National ratings for Monday, Aug. 9, 2010The premiere of ABC's reality Frankenstein "Bachelor Pad" delivered OK numbers Monday night -- good enough to give the network the lead among adults 18-49 for the night -- but CBS had the most viewers. FOX's Teen Choice Awards telecast, meanwhile, improved a bit over last year but still put up typically modest ratings.
CBS averaged 6.6 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/7 share in primetime, beating out ABC's 5.75 million and 3.8/6. NBC (4.2 million, 2.7/5) edged FOX (4.05 million, 2.2/4) for third place overall. The CW was way off the pace with just 790,000 viewers and a 0.5/1.
In the adults 18-49 demographic, ABC's 2.1 rating led the way. CBS was not far behind at 1.9. FOX, 1.5, came in a little ahead of NBC, 1.4, and The CW trailed with a 0.3.

While finishing up in the kitchen the Bachelor Pad came on in the next room- I have never heard so much squealing and giggling and tacky, sexist comments since jr high- could not turn it off fast enough! I'm with you Mad Dog- TV for grown-ups is a novel approach
you know, these daily updates are getting to be so yesterday, folks. No one is watching network TV this summer. The action is on cable -- and I want to know is: what are the daily cable ratings like? Does anyone really care about america's got talent or Lie to Me?

Don't even waste your time with that douchebag ****. She has absolutely no clue what she is saying and never can utter a complete thought without showing her stupidity on these boards. WHY the CW is still on the air is even a bigger mystery to me. ABC is going into the toilet quicker than expected with garbage like this.
