'True Blood' trio presenting Emmys, 'Kardashians' opens big

kardashians-320.jpgSome "True Blood"- and Kardashian-flavored TV snacks for your nighttime enjoyment:

"True Blood" stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard will present at the Emmy Awards on Sunday -- presumably while wearing more clothes than on their Rolling Stone cover. [Emmys]

Quite a few people were "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" on Sunday. The E! show's season premiere logged 4.7 million viewers, the second-most-watched telecast in the network's history behind last season's finale. [E!]

What's a six-pack worth? If you're "Jersey Shore" star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, potentially as much as $5 million this year as he exploits his fame in any way he can. [The Hollywood Reporter]

NBC has handed out a script order for "87th Precinct," a cop show based on crime writer Ed McBain's series of novels. Stanley Tucci and Steve Buscemi are executive producing with writer Amy Bloom ("State of Mind"). [Deadline]

"SCTV" and "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" actress Andrea Martin has joined Syfy's pilot "Three Inches." She'll play the mother of the lead character, a not-so-superhero who can use his mind to move any object a distance of -- yep -- three inches. [The Hollywood Reporter]
