'The Real Housewives of NJ' hit the high seas, but if one had to go overboard?
On Monday's (August 9) episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," the women took their parents, hubbies and children (who seemed to multiply with every vacation day) to the homeland: Italy.
Once there, they became a shining example of why smart Americans place Canadian stickers on their bags when they travel abroad. Embarrassing.
Joking aside, the women really did need a vacation. Daughter sued for weave-pulling, money problems, charity crashers, son gets booted from law school, husband rolls truck and gets DUI? All that can really take the wind out of your sails. So, why not board a boat and let the wind blow instead of your life?
We'd say each housewife added something positive to the trip. Caroline Manzo took care of the kids, so Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe, could get their groove on. Jacqueline Laurita was the lush of the party. And Teresa obsessively kept everyone on schedule. Knowing how opinionated our readers are, we're sure one or all of them rubbed you the wrong way somehow at some point of the trip.
But, if we had to choose which one to throw overboard, it would be a hard decision. That's why we're leaving it up to you! Spank us!

I would throw Teresa's husband Joe overboard. All he does is eat and make nasty comments about everything! His constant negativity in life will harm his daughters' character and well-being as they grow older.
Joe is negative because he has an irresponsible wife who overspends. Their daughters are spoiled brats who probably won't have much character after all. It's obscene to see Teresa and Joe on this vacation and living their lavish lifestyle and then blaming it on failed businesses instead of accepting responsibility for their overspending.
Theresa and Joe filed for bankruptcy in October, held a 200 person "wedding reception" christening for an 8-month old in November, and then went to Italy with all kids and both sets of parents in November or Dec. Meanwhile others absorb the costs of their losses in bankruptcy and we do in taxes, while she continues to spend money she doesn't have. And we know that she knows better because she complained about not being able to keep the costs of the christening reception from him because she no longer had a checkbook he did not see. So much for her saying she didn't know about their finances, and only spent what they had. They had already filed. And she just keeps spending- while he fails to keep electricity and heat in the tenements they own and manage.
I really don't know where the money came from-and find it offensive in an environement when many are afraid to take the shortest driving vacation for fear of losing their job, or spending money in this economy. Even if Bravo picked up some of the costs and the cruise line picked up more- this was 20 people- and Teresa is a huge embarrassment-for spending every minute she could- and then screaming endlessly. Her voice literally is becoming more irritating than Jill Zarin's- at least for the moment! This show has become ridiculous,boring and offensive. What a waste of time- I am done watching this whole series- especially after seeing those losers in DC last week. Bravo has dragged every last semblance of interest and of an apealling insight into supposedly affluent lifestyles and destroyed it with this world of losers.
Ditto what D said. But if the other members of the housewives had to vote, do you think Juicy would vote to throw Tree off?
Theresa is a loud obnoxious, uncultured, over done, (hair makeup, clothes, children),whinny voice idiot. She make me not want to watch the show anymore. Yuck! Stop with all the annoying Jersey stuff. Its’ too Ghetto for me. Send that chick overboard!!!
why didn't andy call Ther. out on lying about she didn't know they were in financial trouble. Dan. is a l--r, but so is Ther!!!!!!!!
