'Terriers': Fetch the trailer for FX's new show

terriers-320.jpgThe show is called "Terriers," but even though there's a canine in the pilot, it's not about dogs.

FX's new series follows two guys, ex-cop Hank Dolworth (Donal Logue, "Life," "Zodiac") and Britt Pollack (Michael Raymond-James, "True Blood"), who work as (unlicensed) private investigators in San Diego. And as Raymond-James points out, the title speaks some to the nature of the two leads.

"It's indicative of our characters' tenacity and scrappiness and stick-to-itiveness, our can-do spirit," Raymond-James tells Zap2it. "Maybe we're a little bit stubborn."

Title aside, we're pretty excited to see the show. "Ocean's Eleven" writer Ted Griffin created the series and is executive producing it with Shawn Ryan ("The Shield," "The Unit"), which speaks well for the behind-the-scenes elements. On camera, Logue and Raymond-James work really well together, and while it's by no means a comedy, there are some very funny moments.

Don't take our word for it, though. The trailer for the series is below; watch it and judge for yourself. "Terriers" premieres Sept. 8 on FX.

I have a slightly unhealthy crush on Donal Logue, that alone will get me to watch this.

LOL. I thought that was Johnny Knoxville.
