'Supernatural' fans make their Season 6 wishes known

supernatural-jensen-jared-s4.jpgZap2it asked "Supernatural" fans to share their hopes and predictions for the upcoming Season 6, which premieres Friday, September 24 on The CW. As always, you guys were very vocal - both about what you do want to see and what you don't want to see.

We've picked out some of the most interesting (and/or hilarious) responses below. Keep them coming! Like you, we're looking forward to finding out what happens when Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are reunited after a year of separation. Sam let Dean think he was dead while Dean played domestic daddy.

After Dean gets over his relief that Sam is not, in fact, cooking in hell, do you think he's going to be angry? We would be.

More bromance, less crying:
"I watch it for the family and emotional drama along with the humor. It's the relationship the boys have and how the show explores it that brings me back each week. As long as that is the main focus point (without Dean shedding a tear each week) I think Season 6 can't go wrong." --Kim

Girl power:

"I want more female characters, chromatic characters, and queer characters, preferably with at least one of surviving, recurring, and not being antagonistic. Also more about Jess and about John's family. On plot considerations, especially getting back to the SamnDean show without fridging Lisa, I trust Sera Gamble. (More than I trust anybody else who's ever been in Supernatural's writing room. Did you know Gamble's the reason S4 Ruby was possessing a body where the original occupant wasn't home? It didn't occur to anybody else in the writing room that any other scenario that involved Sam sexing Ruby would mean Sam raping Ruby's host.)" --Ellie

"I would love to see a kick-a** female hunter, in my mind, played by Gina Torres, who is a strong figure and NOT antagonistic to the brothers, and NOT a romantic interest. Not every woman who strolls on screen needs to be a potential lover for either Sam or Dean. I would like to see Missouri Mosely return. Loretta Devine was superb in the role, and she has been sorely missed. We need her back again." --Zach

To accessorize or not to accessorize:
"The Samulet has to return ASAP. i will be very disappointed if dean never wears it again. VERY." --Noor

"SAMULET. BRING BACK THE SAMULET." --Timey Wimey

"Please, no samulet! It's an ugly reminder of unhealthy one-sided relationship that should be over and forgotten." --Grib

"Honesty, laughs, reunions, brotherly love and the Samulet are what I hope for in season six please Sera." --Charli

Hope it gives you hell:
"I just hope we get to see fall out from Sam's time in hell. He deserves an epic storyline this season to make up for the seasons where they kept villifying him to martyr Dean. It got old fast." --Lucy

"The only thing that troubles me about the setup for season six is the writers' decision to have had Sam hide his return from Dean. I really hope there's more behind it than a totally mistaken and patronizing assumption by Sam that Dean would be better off living with the agony of believing his brother trapped in Hell." --Mary

E.T. phone home:
"I probably won't even watch season 6 till I hear from other fans that the brothers are okay with each other and that it's not gonna be the domesticated Dean family hour with him calling Lisa on every hunt to check on his little nuclear family, ugh." --Sharilyn

"If the relationship does inevitably go bust, I hope it's Lisa that slams the door, and not Dean." --Dee

"I think Dean will be an awesome dad. He always took care of Sam so it shouldn't be that akward for him. I really look forward to see some Dean Ben bonding moments. I'm curious how they will deal with Dean hunting and having a family with Lisa and Ben. I just hope they don't go their usual way of killing off characters for Lisa and Ben." --Cassi

Brother vs. Brother:
"Have Dean stop calling Sam 'Sammy.'" --M.

"I say keep the brother apart as long as possible and let them develop relationships with other characters. I'm so over Dean being all about Sam and Sam being all about Sam." --Zoe

"More Crowley. And don't you dare change his vessel. Sheppard!Crowley is the only Crowley I can accept." --Timey Wimey

You better work:
"No more plaid flannel shirts. I know Sam and Dean are tough dudes from the Midwest but enough of the bad wardrobe. This show has two hot lead actors and they are always covered head to toe with shirt, t-shirt, jacket combinations in all seasons and in every climate. I am not saying they need to wear silk, pastel shirts but can we a least try to stay current on a few new trends." --Michelle

Answer our questions! This isn't "Lost.":
"I want to know why Dean was able to kill a high ranking angel and stare into angel grace." --Sandradee

"Aside from the perpetual fraternal melodrama, I'm interested to see what Sera has in store in terms of the supposed noir-esque mytharc, especially given the underwhelming end to the apocalyptic angle." --Tara

"I would love to see an episode in this season about Sam and Jess's family. We know the emotional struggles Sam went through, but what about her family?" --James

Keep them coming, Zappers!

"I just hope we get to see fall out from Sam's time in hell. He deserves an epic storyline this season to make up for the seasons where they kept villifying him to martyr Dean. It got old fast." --Lucy

Lucy, with all due respect... More epic than beating Lucifer, sacrificing his life and (almost) single-handedly saving humanity? How 'more epic' can you go?! Passing through the Kuiper cliff, visiting Planet X and bringing back a cure for cancer? Unbending rays of light in the presence of a gravitational field? Befriending unicorns? No. Seriously. Guys. I'm really curious.

Dean stop calling Sam, "Sammy"? No amulet? The boys more time apart? Are you nuts? Which TV Show do you want to watch?

Seriously, their brotherly love is what keeps me watching, pretty much like Kim said. Some of these answers are a mystery for me.

My hopes for the show are simple.

1/ Sam and Dean Together again, no demon blood or another heaven/Hell two year long arc(IT GOT OLD), just bare bones Supernatural.

2/ The Sam and Dean Dynamic. Sorry..but I watched the show based on the family thing. Sam and Dean will always need Sam and Dean.(I can live without Lisa and Ben, I thought it was a dumb way to end S.5 anyways) and the SAMULET Dammit!

3/ Family. John's Family, Mary's family(I know we're getting mary's dad and brother on the show which'll be cool), but I'd like to know about John(preferably with an appaearance from Jeffrey Dean Morgan)

4/NO MORE RUBY-ESQUE CHARACTERS. the ruby/sam garbage disgusted me and ticked me off to no end. So...no more of that.

5/maybe some more childhood flashbacks. either teen sam and dean, or kid sam and dean. I thought Brock Kelly did a great job as Dean. and Colin Ford is a fantastic Sam. Ridge Canipe was a great kid Dean too.

What I want the most can best be summed up via a quote from season one: "Saving people, hunting things, the family business."

I want more monsters of the week and less epic angst. I want the brothers to get passed all the heaven and hell nonsense. Mostly, I want the show to return to its roots.

How about Dean's story?
I would love to see more of Sam caring about Dean, instead of Sam caring about himself and Dean caring about Sam.

I would love to see more ActionBadass Dean and less Sam trying to act like Dean.

I would hate to see the amulet, since it only reflects on Dean's love for Sam, and Sam's anger towards John. It never reflected any love of Sam for Dean, and I am beginning to feel it's because Sam will never love Dean more than he loves his own specialness.

I would love to see Dean with his own story and this time make it stick Sera, don't end up giving it to Sam like Kripke always did with Dean's stuff.

After five seasons of Sam owning the mytharc and ultimately saving the world, I think it's about time for Dean to have an equal storyline. No more filler stuff about being the happy homemaker or how awesome it is to be the wind beneath Sam's wings. His PTSD storyline got short changed, his hell storyline is now shared with Sam, his mytharc role fizzled into nothing....for pete's sake, give the guy something-like maybe a direct tie to the new mytharc this time around!

1. I wish for Dean to get his necklace back having a whole season of him not wearing was long enough for me.
2.I wish the boys would laugh more and play pranks on each other, I miss that from the first two seasons so I would like more of that PLEASE!!!!!!
3. I wish Sam would interact with more people besides Dean, Bobby.
4.I wish the boys relationship would be finally repaired after seasons of having them fight and separate, it's about time that the boys come together as a whole like they where during the last episodes of the 5 season.
5.I wish for more information about John and Jeffrey Dean Morgan back I miss him.
6.I wish for MORE CROWLEY.
7.I wish for more female characters and more female hunters.
8. I wish Sam wouldn't think he's a freak any more and be more positive about himself.

I hope if any of the producers are reading this that they will go back and look at all the comments from the previous article, because there were a lot of good ones.

Again, I'd really like to see some of Dean's two-year long story arc that went absolutely nowhere at the 11th hour brought back and used in season six. Otherwise, seriously, why did you even bring the guy back from Hell in the first place (aside from ratings)?

But since you threw away a lot of that story and tossed in the Lisa and Ben angle at the last minute instead, then you should follow it through. You can't have Dean make a life with these people for a year, and in any way make it believable that he wouldn't want to keep them as part of his life from here on out - short of killing them, and seriously, don't go there. Plus, Cindy Sampson is really hot, she and Jensen look great together, and maybe we can get to see a little Dean skin besides. It's been too long!

Dean will be angry that Sam and everyone else lied to him and allowed him to grieve unnecessarily for a year - Dean should be allowed that anger, because any real living breathing person would be angry; and Dean should not have to apologize for feeling betrayed. The guys can get past it later, but you have to be real about this. Otherwise, why even do it this way?

I don't care about the amulet - the time to have Sam return it to Dean would have been the 100th episode in the panic room. Since it didn't reappear then, I think the opportunity has passed. Instead of the amulet, how about just freshing up the guys' wardrobes overall. This is season six. It's time.

No more of Sam taking Dean's storylines, please! Not that Dean has any left for him to steal (unless Sera goes for broke and has Sam and Lisa end up together, like how they switched Bobby's affection for Dean over to Sam).

It's just really heartbreaking to see an actor work so hard, and make his character so interesting, only for the creative team to decide that he doesn't get to keep the character he made. No one deserves to play Dean but Jensen Ackles. And if Sam is gonna keep stealing Dean's stuff, Dean ought to get some of Sam's juicy destiny/powers storyline to compensate.

I would love to see the friendship between Dean and Cas reestablished. It was perfect, until the PTBs got scared that it would take Dean's attention away from his brother, the special snowflake who can do no wrong.

I would love to see Dean loved for who he is, not for what he can do for others, specifically Sam, who uses Dean like I use my dish rag. Actually, I think I have more respect for my dish rag than I've ever seen Sam show for Dean.

I would like more episodes of just Dean and Cas. Sam can go hunt with his cheerleader Bobby.
