To celebrate the successful run "Pretty Little Liars" has had this summer, the ABC Family crew invited us to join the girls at a "glamping" event for food, spa treatments and interviews. All press days should be like this.The fabulous Willow Spa in Santa Monica served as "Camp Mona" for our event. We were welcomed in a beautiful garden and got our choice of four "Liars" drinks. We went with Aria's blackberry mint tea.
Next we were welcomed inside to the impromptu screening room (pictured, right) where we watched the midseason finale, "Keep Your Friends Close." We didn't get to see the last eight minutes, but the first 35 were fantastic -- Tuesday, Aug. 10 cannot come fast enough, "Liars" fans.The screening was accompanied by delectable glamping nibbles -- miniature mac & cheese, pigs in a blanket, corn fritters and of course s'mores. What is glamping without s'mores?
Following the finale, we found out what puts the "glam" in glamping -- spa treatments. We received a luscious foot scrub and a make-you-melt chair massage. We almost didn't want to go interview the girls because we enjoying our treatments too much.
But of course, we did talk to the girls and they could not have been nicer. Lucy Hale was chillaxing in sandals and a purple sun dress, while Ashley Benson rocked the glam look in a black and cream party dress. Troian Bellisario looked ready for summer in a simple tank and khaki shorts and Shay Mitchell was dressed to kill in a teal silk jumper.
The girls dished with us about the penultimate "Liars" episode "The Perfect Storm" -- watch that interview here. We also got some scoopage on what they are most looking forward to for their characters once the show returns in January -- but we can't post that until after the finale airs. Sorry, "Liars" fans.
But definitely check the great swag we got (pictured, left) -- the first "Liars" book, a magnet set of the girls and a "PLL" hoodie that says "Camp Mona" on the back in sparkly glitter. Fancy! "Pretty Little Liars" airs Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.

I believe that Ezra is "A" and that he was the older guy allison was hooking up w/since they mentioned she was seeing an older guy but they didn't know who it was. Perhaps this is how "A" gets letters put in the school library and is at homecoming etc. In the clip it looks like ezra is kissing s/o that isn't aria but i might be mistaken but who knows.
Tear the show is coming back in January why so long from now I won't be able to function without knowing that every Tuesday I have something to look forward to @ 8 how will I breath every night oh god after this Tuesday every Tuesday to follow I'm gonna be so depressed and I just love all the four liars meeting them in person must be an honor to you guys if I got to meet any of the people on the show I would cry my bday is on the day of the mid season finale and all I want is all of the books and a camp Mona hoodie my mom will try her best can't wait!
