Oprah Winfrey's final season trailer: We miss her already

The end is near, folks. The first trailer for Oprah Winfrey's final season of The Oprah WinfreyShow has hit the web, and they're pulling out all the stops to remind us of just how awesome Oprah really is.

She's been in our living rooms for 24 years now, bringing with her everyone from Madonna to serial killers. The trailer gives us a glimpse of her first ever show in September 1986 -- check out those sexy hairstyles in the audience! -- and some of her famous Oprah embraces.

"People want to be heard," she says, and when she moves on from The Oprah Show, she'll be giving even more people a platform with OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network.

As much as the new trailer is trying to pull on our heartstrings and jerk a few tears, it's not fooling us. We don't actually believe that Oprah will be going very far at all. Are we in denial? Perhaps. Maybe. Leave us alone, we're busy searching YouTube for that video of Tom Cruise jumping on the couch.
