Katee Sackhoff returns to 'The Big Bang Theory'

Sackhoff ("Battlestar Galactica," "24") will make her second appearance on the CBS comedy playing herself, the network confirms to Zap2it. She'll once again be playing the manifestation of Wolowitz's (Simon Helberg) conscience -- although it's unlikely she'll be taking another bubble bath with Helberg, as she did last season.

"He's struggling with his feelings about Bernadette [Melissa Rauch, who's also returning] and them breaking up, and in pops Katee Sackhoff again," Sackhoff tells TV Squad, which broke the news of her return. "I can probably say it won't be in the bathtub. I don't know for sure ... I can't imagine them doing the same thing twice, but you never know."

Sackhoff hasn't shot her guest appearance yet, but a CBS rep says it should air in the show's first block of new episodes in the fall.

"The Big Bang Theory" is scheduled to premiere in its new Thursday-night home at 8 p.m. ET Sept. 23.
