'How Do You Know' trailer: Reese Witherspoon is torn

Reese Witherspoon is stuck between two guys. Standard rom-com setup? Maybe. But we're a little more intrigued than usual by her latest movie, "How Do You Know."

The reason for that is writer and director James L. Brooks, who may not always make great movies (hello, "Spanglish"), but who almost always makes interesting ones. We're guessing this one -- the trailer for which is below -- won't be any different.

Witherspoon plays Lisa Jorgenson, a former athlete whose playing days are over and is now at loose ends. Not helping matters: She's also caught between her baseball-pitcher boyfriend (Owen Wilson) and a corporate hotshot (Paul Rudd) who's on the verge of being indicted. Jack Nicholson -- who starred in Brooks' "As Good As It Gets" -- also stars.
