'Glee's' Matthew Morrison shaving head for Britney Spears episode: Too much?

We can't wait for "Glee" to bring the laughs for Season 2 in the highly anticipated Britney Spears episode, titled "Britney Brittany," but how far are they willing to go? Just Jared reports that Matthew Morrison will apparently shave off his curls during the episode, recreating the night that the paparazzi snapped Spears shaving her own head.
"The recreating of Brit shaving her head is going to be epic!" says the source.
We're all for poking fun on occasion, but given the fact that Britney was going through a very public breakdown that led to rehab, a conservatorship, and an involuntary hospitalization, it seems that the "Glee" powers that be may be taking the jokes a step too far.
During the TCA press tour, Executive Producer Ryan Murphy said that "Glee" would pay tribute to Britney in a "fun and unexpected way." Is making light of the darkest part of Britney's life what she had in mind when her manager campaigned for a Britney episode?
One thing we do know: Without his hair, Mr. Schuester is going to make Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) work a lot harder for the insults.

I'm looking forward to the shaved head scene. Britney desperately threw herself on the show thinking that she would be treated like Madonna but she's just a washed up popstar and an embarrasment
A person having a breakdown isn't funny. I don't care who we're talking about. Pretty cruel joke trying to throw that bit into the show.
Britney had one of the biggest selling CD and tour in 2009 and made about $65 million according to Forbes. If that's washed up, tell me where to sign up. Only embarrasment here are idiots like Jane.
Hooray for Horatio Jones! I couldn't agree more. And let's not forget two #1 singles in two years with '3' and 'Womanizer.' And also a #1 album with her last album Circus. An album that sold over 500,000 copies in it's first week which made her the first female artist to have five consecutive albums debut with sales over 500,000. That, by the way, are ALL of Britney's full length studio albums. Britney is the furthest thing from washed up.

Oh my goodness, as a Britney fan, I think some of the comments here are actually ridiculous. We don't even know for sure if the show is shaving off his hair to make fun of Britney or not. Maybe we should wait unti we get ACTUAL facts before passing judgement, or maybe Zap2it shouldn't post articles that are based solely on speculation and unconfirmed rumors.
