'Glee' season premiere pics: Old flames and new coaches

glee-season-premiere-1.jpgThe slushie teases are over. FOX has the first images from "Glee's" September 21 premiere, "Audition," and it looks like the episode's title is fairly telling. Someone's singing on the auditorium stage, but who? Kurt's future boyfriend, perhaps?

You'll likely have to wait until the air date for that information -- or at least the first promo -- because as exciting as this first glimpse of Season 2 may be, it doesn't give much away.

At least Puck (Mark Salling) and Quinn (Dianna Agron) seem to be getting their romantic repartee back on. These are not the faces of teens encumbered by the grief of having to give up a baby for adoption -- this is flirting at it's finest. Also: let's share a moment of silence for Puck's mohawk and Quinn's baby weight.

glee-season-premiere-2.jpgAnd it looks like newly minted Gleeks Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) could back to scheming for Sue (Jane Lynch). This is all too reminiscent of their darkly lit liaisons from Season 1.

glee-season-premiere-3.jpgElsewhere, the new football coach (Dot Jones) arrives, and the three grumpy faculty faces can only mean one thing: extracurricular overlapping! Yes, this definitely has something to do with Chord Overstreet's new football-player-turned-glee-member.

Thanks for posting these! I can not wait for season 2! BTW, Did anybody notice how intrigued Kurt is looking at whoever's on stage... Just saying.

@Ethan, Kurt almost always looks intrigued. Anyway, don't you think Mike Chang and Tina are a bit too close for comfort? Just saying, as I read that Tina kinda broke up with Artie. Can't wait!
