'Glee': Kurt's new boyfriend already cast says Jane Lynch
On "Glee" Season 2, Kurt (Chris Colfer) may get his chance to date a football player after all.Sorry, Finn, but we're talking about guest star Chord Overstreet, whose casting has already been known for a while. There's been speculation for a while that he's Kurt's new squeeze, and from the sounds of it, cast member Jane Lynch thinks he's the one, according to E!.
"They've cast him already," Lynch says Sunday (Aug. 22) at the Audi and Chopard Emmy party when asked about Kurt's love interest. "He becomes the new star quarterback and he's going to be Kurt's boyfriend.
"He's tall, boyish with straight blonde hair and big fat, pouty lips," she adds, forgetting his name.
Well, that's how Sue "C's" it anyway. She's pretty convincing.
Not only is the description spot on, but if you recall, Overstreet's character Sam is newcomer who joins the football team, becomes pals with Finn (Cory Monteith), only to later become his rival. Hmm, will Finn be jealous of Sam and Kurt?
"Glee" returns on Tuesday, Sept. 21.

Yay:)
There better be a good kissing scene.
As if Kurt would get a boyfriend like that in real life. Good lord...
Bebe - There's no accounting for tastes.
Bebe,
There is no Kurt in real life. Get over it and leave the kid alone, jeez.
Why the heck would they have 2 gay guys on a show!?!?!? One is enough. There better not be any kissing scenes. Thats just gross and the only reason theyre doing it is to be "politically correct". It's stupid.
Hannah,
Maybe because Kurt, a major character who is gay, deserves to have a squeeze? Gay people have relationships just like straight people - why shouldn't they be on TV too? I think you should take your homophobia elsewhere.
Homophobic comments like guys kissing is gross and two gays on a show is similar hate speech that lead to 6 teens killing themselves this week. Seriously think before you say crap like that. Sad depressed teens who feel alone out there see these comments and think no one loves them. Well there is support out there and not everyone hates them. Get on the right side of history cause u are losing a war you cannot win. Today's youth is more ok with gays than any other age group. Any religion that preaches hate is hate filled itself.
its about time they portray a gay relationship. :) that sam kid is cute too! Its sad to hear there are still ignorant people willing to go out of their way to express their homophobia...hope it made you feel better...maybe you can sleep better knowing that someone maybe committing suicide because of your hate comments.
I think it's wonderful that Kurt's getting a boyfriend! That blonde kid's a cutie! :)
I think everyone has the same rights and Kurt and Sam (is that his name?) should be able to walk around holding hands just like any straight couple.
I agree with a lot of these comments, that today's teens are way more tolerant and progressive than in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with two guys showing affection the same way straight couples do.
And if the scared homophobes (b/c that's what they are, scared) don't like it, they don't have to watch.
