'Fringe' Season 3 pics: Going underground and 'over there'
The season premiere of "Fringe" will include what looks to be a fairly freaky incident in a subway station. But that may not be the coolest thing in the first batch of photos from Season 3.
We'll get to that in a minute, but here's the shot in the subway, with Olivia (Anna Torv), Peter (Joshua Jackson), Walter (John Noble) and Broyles (Lance Reddick) on the scene with several dazed-looking people.
The guy staring up at the ceiling -- creepy, no?
FOX doesn't give us much to go on as to what's happening; the photo captions all say "the team returns to face all-new impossibilities" in the premiere, which is called "The Box." OK, so fine. What has us really jazzed, though, was visual evidence of the "Fringe" producers' promise that the show will spend a lot of time "over there" in the alternate world. So much so that the network included shots of regular and alt-Olivia and Walter.
The network also posted two shots of Jackson as Peter, but since there's only one Peter, we suppose they're just showing off a couple different looks for him.
We've put them side by side for easy comparison. Take a look:

There's only one Peter.
Alt Peter? Isn't regular Peter actually alt Peter, as regular Peter died as a child. So how can there be 2 of them now? That does not make any sense.
theres no alt peter
Argh. My bad -- well, consider the side by side shots of Josh Jackson as "casual Peter" and "dressed-up Peter," then.
Updating the post.
well this is fringe so you never know...
wait, the premeire is called the box? not Olivia like everyone thought
ooooh.
Know what would be nice? It would be nice it every article about the new season of a show INCLUDED THE DATE OF THE SEASON PREMIERE. If that's too much trouble, how about a link to a story that DOES tell the date. After reading a story about a season premier, I should not have to do a freakin' search to find the date.
Can hardly wait! For the loyal viewer - this show keeps getting better and better!
In the finale, Peter was dressed completely different from how he dressed in our reality. He was more GQ. After all, his dad is one of the most powerful people over there, and Peter's supposed to be famous. I'm guessing the second pic is what "real" Peter looks/would look like, had/when he lives/lived in the altverse.
