Emmys: 'The Pacific,' Betty White and 'Modern Family' score Creative Arts Emmys
Will "The Pacific" sweep the technical awards or will the miniseries share some of the love with its sister HBO program, the moving biopic "Temple Grandin," starring Claire Danes? It's Saturday, Aug. 21 and time for the Creative Arts Emmys, held a week and a day before the Primetime Emmy Awards telecast. How did Lost and Michael Giaccino not win for best score? The score on 24 never seemed particularly memorable to me, whereas the music on Lost was always one of my favorite parts of the show and is spectacular.
Prep and Landing? That was OK, but I thought The Simpsons should have won.
HEY, Anne Hathaway won an Emmy!!! Awesome!!!
Finally! The Amazing Race lost! Yay for Anne Hathaway, Betty White and Ann Margret.
NOTHING for "Deadliest Catch"??? What a rip!
Great, that wonderful FlashForward cast can now say they were on an Emmy-winning series cancelled in its first season.
It's RIDICULOUS that the Guest Actor and Actress awards are not part of the televised ceremony. This is such a highlight...imagine seeing Betty White and Ann-Margret receive awards in front of their peers.
Relegating these awards to the dinner makes them seem less relevant, less important, and that's a total slap in the face.
Amazing Race has not lost yet. Their category is Reality-Competition which will be awarded on the live show.
Jetta - The Amazing Race didn't lose yet. They are in the Best Reality/Competition category which is still presented live next Sunday. It is against American Idol, Top Chef, Project Runway and Dancing With The Stars. The one listed here is the other type of reality show where there is no prize awarded.
I want to SEE these awards anywhere -- my tv, my computer. Wikileaks! Where are you when we need you?
